Hi, I'm Fabian Schocher. Born and raised in Switzerland, my life has been an exciting adventure filled with culinary delights and alpine skiing. I've lived in the United States and, since 2001, have called Gothenburg, Sweden, my home. Over the years, I've worked in various restaurants and hotels in Gothenburg, and now, I'm excited to share my knowledge and passion as a guide and concierge.

Growing Up in Switzerland

My journey began in the beautiful Swiss countryside, where I developed a love for high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. Switzerland's rich culinary traditions and my experiences as an alpine skier shaped my early years, setting the foundation for my diverse career.

Exploring the US

Eager to broaden my horizons, I moved to the United States. The diverse culinary scene there offered endless opportunities for experimentation and growth. I worked in various restaurants and high-end hotels, each experience adding new dimensions to my culinary skills.

Finding Home in Gothenburg

In 2001, I settled in Gothenburg, Sweden. This vibrant city, known for its rich food culture and beautiful surroundings, has been the perfect place for me to continue my journey. I've had the pleasure of working in numerous restaurants and hotels, constantly evolving and innovating my style.

Transitioning to Guiding

Now, I am thrilled to take on a new role as a guide. Gothenburg is a city full of hidden gems, and I want to share its beauty, fantastic restaurants, and unique places with you. My experience in the culinary world gives me a unique perspective on the city's food scene, and my passion for exploration ensures that I can show you all the best spots.
